Fakenham Bowmen’s annual Mayday tournament returns, incorporating the 24th May Longbow meeting, the 15th Warwick tournament and the 32nd Mayday Shoot.
This is an ever-present on the Norfolk Archery calendar – with a great team, venue and judges making it a very fun weekend.
Not only do you get the chance to see/take part in a two way longbow shoot – there is also a tri-bow competition allowing the brave (or foolish) to attempt to shoot 3 bowstyles across the weekend. Potentially no Mark Webb this year so this competition is wide open!
Camping is available at the Racecourse for those traveling, but this year we are sad to announce the retirement of club chef Nicola, meaning the usual refreshments will not be available, though other options are being explored.
